Animal models

This is not really an equipment or a technique, we know, but in few years, we were able to collect a lot of samples from the most used mouse model for ALS, the SOD1G93A mouse.

We have CSF, serum, brain, spinal cord, sciatic nerves and muscles from male and female mice at different disease stages, i.e. presymptomatic, onset of the disease, symptomatic and end-stage, and we keep on collecting them!

We also run a panel of different behavioral tests to evaluate their motor performance (Rotarod, Grip strength, Catwalk, Grid test).
